Hi all,
I am preparing for the SCWCD exam from HFSJ and planning to take up in December.
I am thinking of getting the whizlabs or Jwebplus software. Which one is better ? Is there anyone from Bangalore taking the exam ?
If there are 2 or 3 people, we can share it and buy tht s/w.

I used jwebplus, and it was enough, along with the hfsj book.

Hi Sharath!!

Even I was very confused before taking my SCWCD exam whether I should buy any simulators of Whizlabs or J Web Plus! But I managed to attain 95% without the help of any simulators.
Actually, it is important to get into the right temperament before the exam and for that, mock exam of HFSJ and free mocks available on www.j2eecertificate.com etc. are enough.

Although I agree that opinions may differ on above matter.

I don't say that simulators are worthless, but seeing the no. of certifications one needs to attain, one cannot afford a simulator for each exam , unless the simulator makers reduce cost or bring out a simulator which could be used for a bunch of exams.

Wishing u all the best

Regards,
Amit Jain

Hi Amit,
Congrats for passing SCWCD with 95%(cool). I checked the cost of that JWebPlus simulator, its 35$(almost Rs.1500) while whizlabs is costlier. I wil see to it, i may buy JWebplus sim. Actually Whizlabs simulator helped me a lot when I was preparing for SCJP 1.4.

rgds,
Sharath
