HI all,

1. Can we have scripts in a classic tag? (I know that we cannot have scripts in a simple tag).

2. if jsp:getProperty is used on a bean and the bean doesnt contain that property, will the result be a null or an exception?

Regards,
Yashwanth

Hi,

Yes, you can have script in body of the Classic tag. The script is process if the body-content is set to JSP. If is tagdependent it is treated as simple text. for body-content is empty/scriptless it is translation error.

Answer to your second question, it will throw exceptiom.

Thanks
