Hi,

I was just trying to use some tags of JSTL. And I wrote one JSP as:

I also copied the jstl.jar in WEB-INF/lib dir.
And there is no DD in my web app.

When I try to run it I get a jasperException :

Am I missing something?
May be something in DD....
Do I require a TLD for jstl too...

Kindly help.

Thanks!

Sorry for the inconvenience guys !!!

But I think I found the solution.

Earlier I had just copied the jstl.jar and not the standard.jar

As soon as I copied standard.jar to the WEB-INF/lib, it worked.

though I didnt get the concept behind it...
But anyways its working....

Thanks!
