hi all

Yester day I have given SCWCD 1.4 test and got 68%. I would like say thanks to JAVA RANCH and Head First. I failed once the exam that was happened 11/2 week back (due to time constraint and lack of preparation) in just 1 mark difference. But the exam is not simple. Only by reading head first is not enough. I could able to see so many questions we need to select 2 to 3 from the choices. One answer I could able to select confidently but other choices I didn't remember that I have read anywhere. First the exam concentrated on security I got 10 questions. And this time design patterns & EL's. One thing I can say if you read only the head first for EL's you can't attempt the answers in the real exam. I am happy that I cleared my exam yester day which impacted my salary in my yester day's review with my company. I wish everybody who is appearing for the exam to have success.

ThankQ my friends.

Congratulations and thanks for the tips. I was not reading that much about EL ( I thought Head First was enought ) but in this case I'll try to study it more.

Congrats Lakshmi,

But can you please tell which other thing one should refer to if HF is not enough? I was relying on HF but according to your input if HF is not enough then what else should I refer? ;( Which all links/books etc did you refer & found it suitable to give exam apart from HF?

Thanks,
Amee
