Book will be available on Aug. 20, 2007. Does anyone know when the testing is available for SCWCD 1.5?

SCWCD Exam with Java EE 5

Publisher's web site

Should I wait for this new book or get the Head First Servlets and JSP now?

Thanks,
Chris

What's that ??? There's no SCWCD 1.5, and probably won't be any for soon. This is misleading. I think it's a book using technologies of SCWCD 1.4, and enhancing it to J2EE5 features. I think that Charles Lyons has already done something like that in his book.

From the site :

This likely first-to-market-book on the SCWCD Exam for Java EE 5

They'll have to ask Charles if that's true

This book completes the Apress Java EE 5 line of books.

Is it a filler ? Let's wait for the complete TOC and chapter samples.

Christophe,

Thank you for the clarification. I will pick up the HFSJ and Lyons' book then. Both books will keep me busy for a while.

Thanks,
Chris

I'm almost certain they have no more information about (the unlikely event of) any new exams, and are putting extra Java EE 5 material in for marketing reasons. As you said, I did exactly that in my book. I suspect their title was very carefully chosen...
