Hi,

Just passed the SCWCD after about 1.5month of studdies. Haven't written a servlet/jsp page since 2000 so it was all new to me. I used "Sun Certified Web Component Developer Study Guide" by David Bridgewater. I bought this without reading any recommendations. You will probably pass the exam with this book but the errata is HUGE which is very disturbing. A lot more than listed on the authors homepage. It also didn't completely cover the whole exam. Dynamic attributes isn't covered at all. This whole certification seems accompanied with errors in study-guides and mockexams. 99% sure I found an error in the real exam too. Just a constructor missing but still...

Of the mock exams I liked the JDiscuss one best.

Thanks for all the great resources here at Javaranch. Now I will enjoy the holidays and then maybe go for the SCBCD!
