I found the below question is one of the mocks :

Q) Which of the following is not a valid EL expression object?
a. sessionScope
b. requestScope
c. pageContext
d. header
e. cookie

Answer)a.
Explanation)Option a is correct as they is no such expression called 'sessionScope' in EL.

does the question mean EL implicit objects or anything else?
If it means EL implicit object, could any one explain why sessionScope is not a valid EL expression object ? Is question and answer itself wrong, or my understanding is wrong ? Requesting for clarify.

Checking the JSP or EL spec would answer your confusion. Does it list sessionScope as a valid implicit scoped variable?

I got that question from javabeat mock exams.

Still i am in confusion. there are 11 EL Implicit Objects, one of them is sessionScope, (HFSJ Page No : 367)

in that case why sessionScope is not a valid EL expression object ?

Because the mock's answer is wrong ?
