Hello Ranchers,

Passed SCWCD 5 with 88%. Though I was a little disappointed with my score, I am just glad to be done with it. I was questioned on just 69 questions, unlike the comments made by some other ranchers.

My preparation lasted almost a month.

From a preparation standpoint:

1. Read Head First Servlets and JSPs (almost 3 times!) - The best book out there. Thanks to the authors! I probably would not have attempted this certification if it weren't for this book.
2. Referred to all the notes listed in the "SCWCD links" on this website.
3. Read specifications. Made notes for all the interface methods. There were a couple of questions that would have required an indepth knowledge of which method belongs to which interface.
4. Attempted every free mock exam that was available on the Internet - that is key. Try giving as many mock exams as possible.
5. Browsed through some of the postings on this website. This is truly an awesome site - the moderators do a great job. Thanks to all the ranchers.

When can I expect a Head First book on the Web Services certification?

Cheers.

These comments are for SCWCD1.4, not 5.0
