I just noticed in Pearson Vue's page that the 212-019 Sun Certified Associate for Java Platform, Standard Edition, Exam Version 1.0 is now available. This means that students affiliated with a qualifying SAI (Sun Academic Initiative) institution can take this exam paying only 40 US.00 dollars (instead of the normal price of 100.00 US dollars).

This makes a lot of sense, because SCJA is a good starting point for people who are currently studying at the college level.
