USE Jakarta Ant as a build tool

Once you know how the java environment works, I would strongly recommend using jakarta ant as your build tool. It is easy to use and does everything you would want like - build your jar - javadoc - compile - package - with one command.
It a "make" tool for java.

Yeah ant is the way to go. Its neat and platform independant.
