hi, i would like to know how is it possible to insert HTML code without it being understood as HTML tags. example i want to ask another to type in the following code klasflkfads however the bold tags are not visible. i want them to be visible. regds. Rahul
This is something that can only be done in forums where HTML has been switched off. (HTML and Javascript for example). It's up to Paul which forums have this capability. Of course it makes sense to have it switched off in the HTML forum since people will want to be posting HTML code. This is unlikely in any of the other forums... although I think there are others where it is switched off ..
Pounding at a thick stone wall won't move it, sometimes, you need to step back to see the way around.
Usually we get around this by putting a space after the first < - this seems to be sufficient to prevent browsers from treating the text as HTML. Of course, it's no longer correct as HTML, but we can get the idea from looking at it. < b>Make it easy for others< /b> Just include a note like "delete extra spaces inside HTML tags".
