Personally I think it would be a good idea. Having 1) been to a very good JUG presentation, 2) had Ivar Jacobsen tell me it's going to be where it's at in the future (even though the concept is not new), and 3) having played around a bit with AspectJ, I would gladly volunteer to start off moderating such a new forum. Anybody else interested in Aspect Oriented Programming???
I think AOP is very cool but I do not think there is enough demand on JavaRanch to warrant its own forum. BTW, if you are interested in AOP then you should check out the musings of Rickard Oberg and the future of JBoss 4 as an AOP Framework. [ March 31, 2003: Message edited by: Chris Mathews ]
