SCJP 2 syllabus revised?

Hey guys ..I heard that the syllabus is gonna get revised from Jan2001 , including topics such as JDBC,Swing,Net etc..is it true?

Best thing to do is check the Sun Certification Site.(http://suned.sun.com/USA/certification/progobj.html) It has all the latest information on the objectives, fees, time limit, etc.

I visited Sun's website and there is nothing mentioning possible changes to the syllabus.
The only change I am aware of, which I confirmed by calling Sun, is that the time is now 120 minutes instead of 90 minutes. I guess enough people called and complained about the reduced time that Sun decided to change it back.

dear vishad ! how did you come to know that they are going to ask networking and swing?
i had heard it last time even when they changed the timings from 120 minutes to 90 minues ! if you have a perticular source then plz write this other wise you dont have the right to confuse anyone!
plz do tell every one the source where did you come to know that "valuable information" !

dear evryone ! what vishad is telling is just a rumour !
i heard it last time even ! so be cool and prepare well ! there is no official notice on the sun's site and as they are not fools to change the syllabus so soon ! then what they will ask in the developers exam ?
and one thing more i have worked in java and according to any sensible person they will include servlets or beans first rather than going for networking ! there are lot many things you cannot test on your own standalone pc . so what ever vishad is talking is not a "bull shit" actually its a "pure shit"!
never mind guys prepare with cool mind and take the test without any doubt!
i think javaranch and jchq should restrict such information without a subtantial proof of the statement. coz it causes lot of tention and confusion!
people like vishad are always there in the world!
so we cant help it!
