Shikha,
U want to know about 46<<2.<br /> 1)Convert 46 into binary.<br /> 46=0010 1110<br /> 2)Shift the bits in binary number towards left by 2 i.e<br /> original number =0010 1110<br /> After first shift=0101 1100<br /> After second shift=1011 1000<br /> This is equivalent to 184<br /> Similarly 46>>2,but shift wright.But it is diferent for -ve numbers.
