Khalid's book is a pretty good certification guide. Other popular guides are the RHE book and William Brodgen's guide. If you already have Java programming experience/exposure it is better to start reading the guides now and focus on certification. OTOH, if you are new to Java, I would recommend you to start with a general Java book.
