Hi Dinesh,
It is advisible to go through JLS before the exam.
Even "enthuware.com" site suggests all SCJP aspirants to read JLS atleast once. All the very best.

Well, I passed the exam without reading it. Then I decided that I really wanted to UNDERSTAND the topic (as opposed to just getting a certificate) so then I read the JLS and I'm working on reading the JVM specifications. They really help in "internalizing" the concepts.

JLS stands for Java Language Specification and can be found here: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/jls/html/index.html

Hi!
When I tried to download the zip version, I could download it fine throught the ftp, but when I tried to extract it, I couldn't. I thought there might be some data corruption, and downloaded again, but same thing.
Can somebody tell me what's the problem. I need to go through JLS really really FAST.
Thanks in Advance
pankaj
