every body
i want to ask a question about java.lang andjava.util package
that how much understanding of these packages is required
am i supposed to know each and every class and method of these packages?
plz clear this thing to me.

If u want 2 know more u can refer "THE COMPLETE REFERANCE"...But for exam purpose as hima told RHE is all u req.

Well, I just took and passed the exam...and thorough knowledge of java.lang and java.util are required.

Hi Salman.You dont really need to know those packages in and out.RHE is sufficient for clearing the exam.However,you will need to know behavior of specific classes like java.lang.String,Integer,..etc.
It's always better if you CAN study the packages in depth.That way you will be much more confident on the exam.
The best way to get to know the packages is to write some piece of code.
