hi everyone,
I am fair with java programming and i am proposed to give SCJP exam.how much effort should i put up for the preparation.i just now started my carrier as a s/w engineer in java developement.

Average preparation time is about three months. Ofcourse it depends on your Java experience and level of competence.

i am using the Ivor Horton book on java ( beginning Java 2 Jdk1.3)
how is it
