Can u please tell me how to increase heap memory...i'm using jboss server and i get java.lang.outofmemory error

Try doing a java -X on the command line/prompt and if all the path settings are right, you should see options -Xms and -Xmx to set the initial heap size and max heap size.

Command line options for memory and garbage collection are discussed in a file in the tooldocs section of your SDK installation docs directory.
There are online versions at this Sun site.
