I've just completed Boone's Mock Exam and scored pretty well.
I was wondering, for those that completed the real SCJP exam, how Boone's exam compares with the real thing. My guess is that the real deal is a good deal harder, however I have no basis to make the judgement.

I havent yet checked this one but still my opinion is that mocks are mocks while the exam is not. Fortunately there is the Sun objectives to be read, comprehended and studied through.

Oopz, I should have been more specific.
What I wondering was if the difficulty level of Boone's exam was comparable to the difficulty level of the SCJP exam?
Ciao

Real exam is not difficult when you are prepared.
(well, Ill see the Boone's test when I have the time for it and maybe I comment it as well, but above is all that I am going to say about difficulty comparison for any mock and the real thing - in my opninion, the objectives specified by Sun are quite clear)

I just ran through the Boone exam. My opinion is that if anything in the exam surprises you (besides, of course, the errors) you should hit the books. I would recommend the Majji mock, since it contains a much trickier questions.

Hi Jimmy,
Boone's exam, in my experience, has a lower difficulty level than the real exam. I found the same with Jaworski's. They are, however, both useful as they cover fundamentals that need to know.
By all accounts the difficulty level of the Marcus Green and JQPlus exams are closest to the real thing.
Hope that helps.
