Marcus Green mock exam...
What can cause a thread to stop executing?
1) The program exits via a call to System.exit(0);
2) Another thread is given a higher priority
3) A call to the thread's stop method.
4) A call to the halt method of the Thread class
ans:1,2,3
My problem is option'2',when a higher priority thread comes,
what would the current thread work??
Current one will continue working or yield to the waiting pool
immediately??

thanks for help ,Liao

Yah, 2 should be ok... Current thread which is holding the cpu
will give up if a high priority thread pops in. But the thing is
its also OS specific, wheather its RoundRobin or priority based
In my opinion i think it cant be guaranteed.
PS: 3 option.. stop method deprecated isnt in 1.2?
