client locating the server.....

HI,
I have an client-server application where more than one instance of my server will be running in a cluster of physical machines.
What I need to do is, when the client is started, it need to know the names of the machines my server is running on. Is this possible ?
When the client is started, it has to go over the network (intranet), get names of all the machines which runs the server.
I hope I am clear.
