Hi, I had a question about a simple messaging client/server app that I have been working out of from the Deitel Java book. When I run the client and server on the same computer (using localhost), it works just fine. My question is, I have tried running it on two separate computers and it doesn't seem to work. I have the server running on my computer and I had the client running on another computer with a different ip address. Do I need to edit some permissions on my computer running the server or something like that? I typed in the ip address of my server's location in the command line of my client class, but it never connects. I get this error:
Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated!
