Hi ,
I am trying to implement a simple RMI application using NetBeans 4.0 IDE where the following exceptions are being thrown at the time of executing the server application...

The UnmarshalException occurs when an RMI call is made the same class file is not present on both sides of the wire.

eg. The method

doStuff(Object o);

can be called as doStuff(MyOwnClass m) if this class MyOwnClass is not present on the classpath on the other side of the wire this exception occurs.

To get more details have a look at the api.

u r right....
Actually the same program is working fine in a single PC/network environment without using the NetBeans IDE..
This exception is being thrown while executing the server application from NetBeans 4.0 IDE..and that is the main problem.

If u have any idea about how to run RMI in Netbeans plz reply me..
