i was thinking of applying java for ddbms apps (learning that is), but i dont know where to start... anynoe who could direct me to a good tutorial or resources??? thx in advance and GOD bless!!!

DDBMS = "Distributed Data Base Management System"?

Unfortunately, I don't know a lot about implementing databases - but I do know that there are several databases written in Java, and many of them are open-source. I'm not sure if any are distributable databases, though...

Here's a fairly large list of Java Open Source Databases, which lists all the one's I've heard of, and several that I haven't.
