What is the best IDE to use for developing JSFs for beginners and does your book cover an IDE to use for JSFs?

Not sure about the book. But Studio Creator is your best bet. Otherwise you can use JDeveloper or the appropriate eclipse plugin.

I want to recommend Exadel Studio pro. It supports facelets and hibernate and more. I think it's easier to use with other open source projects.

My recommendation is to try out a few JSF IDEs and see which one fits your needs. Chapter 17 provides a review of how to build the same minimal app in several of the most popular IDEs that support IDEs. These include Studio Creator, Exadel, BEA Workshop, IBM Rational Web Developer, and Oracle JDeveloper.

It is old. We call this "Waking up a Zombie" and we'd rather you didn't do that (see the Javaranch FAQ). But it's too late for this thread, so...

anyone?
