Styling an HtmlSelectOneRadio Group

How does one style an HtmlSelectOneRadio group (spacing, font settings, alignment).

I tried setting the styleClass on a SelectOneRadio and it seemed to have little or no effect -- is this because the style was assigned to the containing table tag, not the table rows?

How do you generally accomplish this?
