selectBooleanCheckbox embedded in datatable

I have a checkbox component embedded in a dataTable and i also have a delete Button that when i click the delete button, any item that is checked is deleted, Problem is how do i know what item was checked as i could not embed a <f:param></f:param>

thats fairly easy thats just a checkbox inside a panelgrid, and there are just one, I am talking about one in which the checkbox is in a databable (Like your email yahoo/Hotmail) such that the only difference between one checkbox and the other is the id, How does not recognize the checkbox that was selected
