Hi,
The requirement I am supposed to do is as below.
1. In a datatable there will be column where each value in it corresponding to the row can have either of 2 values.
2. Of the two values one value must have a commandLink and the other must be a normal ouptputText.
3. But either of these values needs to be present as a value for the selected row.

Is there any option to disable the commandLink when the value to be set doesnt need a link?
It would be helpful to me if you could clarify my query.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Shemida

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
Actually I am new to JSF & AJAX.
Could you explain me in brief the steps by which this can be achieved?
Even link with samples are welcome.
Regards,
Shemida
