We are using the Spring-iBatis framework for our db access. I have a query which is of the form, select <columns> from <tablename> where <column> = #value#

This #value# is passed in as a String. Now on invoking this query using a Spring DAO, I get the following exception:
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError : SQLBindChar
at COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2PreparedStatement.execute2(Unknown Source)
at COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2PreparedStatement.execute(Unknown Source)

We are using the type-2 db2java driver.

All other queries are executing fine. But this is the only one that has #value# associated with it.

Kindly provide inputs if any.

This was resolved. Actually I had two versions of DbConnect running on my machine and there was a driver conflict. One version was removed and this problem disappeared.

To eloberate previous post:
I had multiple versions for db2java.zip files in the classpath.
I removed all of them
Copied one from C:\Program Files\ibm\SQLLIB\java into the CLASSPATH and it worked.

I just had the craziest dream. This tiny ad was in it.
