I want to know if we have an alternative to UDDI/WSDL for publishing our web services. If yes, then what are the advantages over UDDI/WSDL.

It looks like WSDL is going to be the standard protocol for publication of the details of a Web Service. Since there are many tools already available it is not hard.
However I don't think you need to get into UDDI right at the start, something else may supplant it.

Your name ashishraj does not comply with the JavaRanch naming policy. We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please spare a moment and re-register with a name that meets these requirements.
Thanks!
