Hi, Guru
I am learning SOAP by myself. I ran the examples from the soap.war package, it is good. Then I ran another example i found on the website. The link is http://www.onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2002/02/27/tomcaty.html
I made the <b>server and client sources</b> then <b>compiled them</b> to <b>get class files</b>. The I copied the <b>deployment descriptor</b> on that web page then <b>deployed the service</b> without errors.
when running the client class to call the service, I got the error as
<red>The call failed:
Fault Code = SOAP-ENV:Server.BadTargetObjectURI
Fault String = Unable to resolve target object: onjava.CalcService</red>
Could you tell me why? I copied the service class into %JWSDP_HOME%/work/Standard Engine/localhost/soap/WEB-INF/classes/ . Should I do anything more?
ge wing

I got it!
you should set service class path into setclasspath.bat file, whatever deployment tools you are using.
i am using JWSDP package from SUN.
