Hi,

I've created a web service client (using eclipse) based on a wsdl file but I'm getting this error:

org.apache.axis cannot be resolved to a type

Any clues?

thanks in advance,

Hi Manuel,

I believe you are missing a jar file or your build path isn't pointing to the Axis2 lib directory.

Are you sure it's org.apache.axis and not org.apache.axis2?

org.apache.axis2 is in axis2-kernel-1.3.jar (if not other places too).

Hope this helps...
Aloha,
Doug

I'm using Axis2 so, I think it should be org.apache.axis2 but the code where the error is ocurring is the sample client test generated automatically by the eclipse. I'll check out this axis2-kernel-1.3.jar to see what happens.

thanks,

I can't beleive you just said that. Now I need to calm down with this tiny ad:
