Hi guys,

I'm working on a webservice that connects to a MS SQL server, i'm wondering if there is a java property or external mechanism that I can use so that i can change database configuration such as, username and password, database name and table name...even after i build and deploy the WAR file, i'm doing this so that when changing specific database to use, all i have to do is edit this file and not recompile the entire project...thank you very much for your time and expertise.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
