I'm not sure how many people knew this, but JavaRanch has a blog called Radio, which you can tune into to find out all the latest happenings at the Ranch. Not only that, many of the JavaRanch staff are now blogging on radio.
Some of these folks got some pretty interesting things to say, as well as giving folks a flimpse of their lives outside the Ranch, so you might enjoy tuning them in. If you can't get enough of Map's musings, then why not tune into Uncontrollable Vocabularies and experience the world according to Map, along with a bit of haiku. Map isn't the only poet on the Ranch, as Frank Carver not only expounds on topics such as unit testing, but also busts out some mean rhymes. Sheriff Tom discusses Velocity and The Golden Ratio. Corey McGlone opines in detail about the SCJP Exam, and Eric Pascarello ruminates on toast. That's only scratching the surface, so be sure to check out the JavaRanch staff blogs, and leave them some comments telling them how wrong and misguided their opinions are.

You forgot the best part: Rancher firefighter's story!
I think Radio is a wonderful addition to JavaRanch, it added the fourth dimension to it!

There is no link to the blogs anywhere that I can find on the site except your mention of it.
I don't know if that's intentional or oversight?

It's a semi-intentional oversight.
