This is great news for all SCJP aspirants from India. Sun is promoting its tests in India.
They will be having "Java Certification Day" at -
1) New Delhi - 15 October 2001
2) Banglore - 17 October 2001
3) Mumbai - 19 October 2001
You can purchase registration for special presentation such as "Java Programmer Certification Package"
which includes Complimentary exam voucher. YES!!!
Also, as a part of this promotion they are selling SCJP test vouchers from 1st Oct to 31st Oct 2001
at 30% discount!!! Of course, there are few restrictions abt. the expiry of the voucher, but
if you are planning to take this test soon, this is GREATTTTTTT news. As for me, I bought my voucher
long back and it's about to expire now (Why else do you think I have started preparing?) so I can't
do anything abt it.
Anyway, just thought I should share this fantastic news with my fellow ranchers from India,
(rest of you, Sorry. I can't help it. Sun says it's only for India!),I think at least you shouldn't
miss this opportunity. You can find more information abt it at these URLs -
http://www.sesfocus.com/jcd/in/promotioninfo.html
http://www.sesfocus.com/jcd/in/registration-full.html
Explore more there, and call up test center in your city to find out more, and when you save your money,
do send some donations to me. Nah! seriously, include me in your prayers and wish me luck, that might help
me to score good marks in my SCJP.
Regards,
- Manish

Hi Royce,
I am not from Mumbai, and I won't be able to make it to any one of the presentations due to other commitments. In fact, I am wondering if it would be possible for me to sutdy for this SCJP.
Let's see.
Visiting Javaranch helps though, with so many ppl. discussing various topics, providing great explanations, good community this is. I love it.
Regards,
- Manish
