How to get default language?

Hi,
I was trying tofind the default language in the handset set. Though there is a method getProperty(String key). What would be the argument "Key" here? Though I tried "user.langauage" what is used in java. but it fails. Could you please help me to detect same.

MIDP defines a system property called "microedition.locale" that defines the device's locale.

Thanks Eric. It worked very well.
But I was wondering where in the world I can get all these information? As I failed to search same in the API. Can you give me some reference for this so that I can try to find other Property key name for trial purposes.

The locale property is defined in the MIDP 1.0 specification, which you can find at
