A friend of mine that I use to work with told me about a KVM that he could use on his Handspring to develop applications with in Java. Is this the same thing as J2ME or was that something specific to Palm and Handspring, possibly even a fore-runner of the J2ME?
There used to be a Jave KVM that ran on the Palm, but all I can find now is the color KVM at http://www.kawt.de Try googling around and you may find a site that still has the download -- if you're set on using the KVM. Burk

You might also check out KVM world - though they've rebranded themselves (or merged, or something like that) as MicroJava.com - I just found it and it looks pretty interesting...

If I've not done any development in either the KVM or J2ME, which would be better to start in? Is one faster than the other, more functionality in one?
