Hi
I am following an example from a book, Instant Wireless Java with J2ME by Paul Tremblett:
The version of J2ME I have downloaded is Sun ONE Studio (formerly Forte for Java) 4 Mobile Edition:
I mounted file system C:\OMH
Created package: C:\OMH\com\paulsjavabooks\instantj2me\chapter1
When I right click the last sub directory (Chapter1), I go to 'new' in the menu and there is no MIDP option.
The 'new' menu produces different options like: All Templates, Folder, Java Package, Java main class, Java class, JFrame form
The 'new' menu does not show AWT Forms, Ant Projects, Beans, CORBA, Classes, Databases, Sample Forms, Jar Packager, MIDP, Other, RMI, RMISockets, SwingForms which it is meant to show so I can select MIDP
Why is this?
Please reply soon
Jayne Tan
Also is there any more J2ME specific forums which are free?
