Hi Mr. Yuan:
Since you are a co-developer of the SCMAD exams. Would you recommend this book for anyone interested in taking the exam?

It depends, I guess. This book primarily deals with practical issues while the exam is focused on the spec. But as Kathy has said, the creation of the exam is influnenced by the concepts brought forward in this book. If you are new to J2ME, I would definitely recommand you to get a introductory book to go with this one.
