It looks like handheld devices are dieing in favor of smart phones and tablet PC. Local stores can offer only HP Ipaq 1950 series obviously lacking in any
Java support. Does anybody know any JVM which is capable to run on handheld devices? Jeode? Can somebody comment on it, which SDK, how fast?What's else? Is any future for handhelds? What do you think? Why no Java? 5 years ago every one offered Java for PDAs but now nobody. I developed Java web server for Zaurus and had full mail box with questions a couple years ago. It' empty now, however customers want applications on PDA, what happened? Are they crazy?
