Hi All,
I wrote a chat application where a midlet acts as a server and another midlet acts as a client. The client connects to the server by typing the IP address of the server. The communication medium is over GPRS. The client gets connected and the server accepts the client connection. I tried having the client on a Sony Ericsson phone and the server on a nokia N73, when the client (SE) types something and send, the server receives it but when the server sends it doesn't work.
I tried the same application on 2 nokia phones, 6630 running the server and N73 running the client but this time the server accepts the client but even the data sent by client is not received by the server. Just curious to know is this a known issue. But google didn't hint that this is a known issue. Would appreciate your thoughts on this.
Thanks a lot and regards.

Hi All,
The issue was sorted by adding a flush() to the data sender thread. With out it, it works on the simulator but not on the real devices. Regards.
