How can I trigger a java program at a particular time of a day.
Is there a utility in java like crontab of unix which can enable me to trigger a java program at a particular time of a day

It sounds to me like you want a Launch Scheduler. There are quite a few available. Chack around at reliable download sites to find one that suits your needs and budget.
