the voucher which we buy from sun is that registered on our name while buying the voucher
i want to buy an scjp voucher from my friend who has dropped the idea of giving the exam for now so if i buy the voucher from him & i go to give the exam in the prometric center then the result will be on my name right
so my question is wether the voucher is registered while buying or while sheduling the exam at the prometric center & is it legal to buy voucher in this way ? is there any danger involved in it please help

Hi.
as far as i feel it is valid.
The voucher does not contain the name of the person whom it belongs to .
But still on the safer side , better ask some one who knowz abt it.

The voucher has no name.
When you register they will ask the number on the voucher only.
If he didn't use the voucher i think u can use his.

if he has appread for the exam i think the voucher has been
used. I don't think he can transfer it to u.
But i suggest calling prometric center and ask them about it.

good luck.

Hi Abdul Latif, be sure that if anyone has used a voucher once he can't use it any more or he can's sell it to other to use it again. And if the a voucher has become out-of-date after one year(think you have baught a voucher at 01-07-2000 then it will expire at 01-07-2001,AFAIK) then its no more usable.
Yes vouchers are transferrable as they do not contain any name and may be used only once by anyone....but then you should contact your nearest Sylvan Prometric Testing Center to clarify that you have paid for other one's voucher and give his name and other details.
