I have been reading about the new 1.4 exam,
I wasn't aware that there were different versions
of the exam. How will I know which I'm taking and
are there likely to be 1.4 specific questions on the new exam that I will be unable to answer if I haven't looked into 1.4 yet ???

The only official exam is the 1.3 exam. The 1.4 exam may appear as early as the end of July or August.

Is the exam number -025 the 1.3 exam or 1.2 exam ?
I had given the exam last month, I thought it was 1.2 ! Any clarification would be appreciated.
thanks

When will the details about the length of the exam (number of questions) and duration of the exam be available? The beta is 4 hours long with 161 questions; this is nothing like 2 hours and 59 questions (as for the current exam). So when will these details be made available ?
If anyone know the answer to this question please do let me know bob_towers@hotmail.com
Thanks for your time. And good luck with the study.

bob,
if anyone does know, they should post it here so that others can benifit from the information as well. If you really want email notification, you can start a new thread and click the email notification checkbox. That way, anytime someone posts a response to your thread, you will be notified via email.

In the email I got the voucher for the 1.4 beta, it is said that the official version will be in less time and have only a percentage of the 161 questions. So I think they will go back to the 2hrs-59 qustions type.

Also, they normally retire the old exam when they roll out a new version and if I'm not mistaken, the new exam should be offered under a new number as well. So you don't really have to worry about not knowing which one you'll get.
