My understanding is that if you pass the beta exam, you get credit for having the SCJP2 1.4 certification, with all the benefits that go with it.
Speaking of which, this Friday will mark 8 weeks since I took the test, and I haven't heard back from Sun yet. Although, they did say it would be 6-8 weeks before I would get results, so I guess I have to wait until next Monday to email them and ask how I did.

I received an answer about the beta exam and in the mail they sent me a link. In the page that followed it I had to log in, but I didnt have any password for my user. So I went to a link indicated as "to users that dont know their password yet", and in this page I had to fill some fields. Well, I had my "Candidate Id" but I dont have my "Registration number", I dont know what is it or where can I find it.
Could someone please help me?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Java Ranch, we hope youll enjoy visiting as a regular however,
your name is not in keeping with our naming policy here at the ranch. Please change your display name to an appropriate name as shown in the policy.
Thanks again and we hope to see you around the ranch!!

Also, your question would be better off in its own thread. It isn't related to the one being asked or to the topic of the initial post. Your more likely to et an anseer by creating a new thread with a meaningful subject line.
