Mock exams?

I did Marcus green tests and I past them at 80% and also the sun free question.
but when I did Dan Chisholm last test (September1) I blew it big time! So witch exam is more close to the real exam?

Ilan,
The feedback that I have received suggests that my exams are more difficult than the real exam. The Marcus Green exams are considered to be very close to the difficulty of the real exam.
My exams are best used during the early phases of your preparation process when you are working through one of the exam preparation books chapter-by-chapter. The exams that more closely represent the real exam in terms of difficulty are a better choice later in the study process when you want to get an accurate measure of your level of preparedness.
It is generally suggested that you should continue the study process until you are scoring in the 90% range on the exams that closely match the real exam in terms of difficulty. If you are scoring only 80% on a Marcus Green exam, then it might be a good idea to work through some of my single topic exams for a while and then try a Marcus Green exam again and see if your score has moved higher.

Hello dan.
I was a great honor reading your reply.
In your exams there were lots of questions with hexadecimal and octal numbers (in this stuff I'm really bad!).
Am I going to get this kind of questions in the exam?

The real exam does contain question on Hex and Octal representation though I have not read Dans quesitons closely enough to say how close they are to the style of the real questions.

The irony is that I used a lot of hexadecimal in my exam because hex is easier to work with than decimal. Computers are binary machines while humans are base ten (decimal) machines. Conversions between binary and decimal are tedious but conversions between binary and octal or binary and hexadecimal are very easy. For that reason, when working with computers, octal and hex are preferred over decimal.
