Here in the Philippines Sun's offering a 2 day review for Java Programmer Certification for $50 (whew,That's our 3 days work), is it worth attending? For out there who attended the same event.... Thanks...
Kabayan Nelson, Personally, I'd use the money to buy one of the recommended Java Certification books. A good book, JavaRanch, and lots and LOTS of practice (writing small programs to test your understanding) are all you need to review for the exam.

Thanks, Junilu. I bought the Java 2 certification Study guide by Hener(and two co-author) That's only the available Java Cert. I requested the JQPlus already and using it now(thru my good friend in US). I also ordered for the Exam Cram (thru my good friend also, thank God). I failed my first exam last June, but its just OK (promo $119). Im eyeing my second attempt next year if there's another promo(because promo was sold out last Sep 9, sayang). You're working abroad?
Sometimes it is difficult to find time to study, so if your employer is willing to give you time off of work to attend the course then your time constraint problem may be solved. If the employer is willing to pay for the course, then it is even better. On the other hand, it is always possible to learn any material that is available in a book.
