Howdy
As of the 1.4 exam, java.awt and java.io have both been removed. Assertions have been added, and questions on Collections, equals() and hashCode() have been strengthened (which means that a slightly greater percentage of questions on the exam are now about Collections, equals, and hashcode, and also the new Collection classes added in 1.4 are now 'fair game' for the exam.
Cheers,
Kathy

hello Kathy,
do you know of any reasons why java.io is no longer included? just want to know significance of that move of not including... is it market-based, technical, trends, etc?....
thanks.
