iam using a plugin for 2D API.when ever ii load the page that contains 2D Graphics my memory is increasing to
+10MB.i.e is nearly the size of the plugin.and more over when ever i refresh the page that contains 2D Graphics again my memory is increasing to +10 MB again.

Hi Ravi,
I have no idea why your memory usage keeps going up. But I do know that calling System.gc() method will not always run the garbage collection. It is up to the JVM when garbage collections takes place. The method only provides a means to "hint" that we want garbage collection to take place soon!
Regards,
Manfred.
